The Original Story.

For those of you who have not seen the movie 'The Cave', here is a quick overview: Deep in the Carpathians (Romania) a large cave system is discovered during an archaeological dig. The head of the digging team (who is not important to this video, and therefore will not be named) calls in an elite team of cave divers to explore and map out this new system. While they are doing what they are being paid for they discover that there are some really nasty creatures hiding in the darkness, and they are not very nice about their home being invaded (either that or they are just way excited and a little overenthusiastic at having visitors after being stuck underground for so long.)

Anyway, these creatures carry a parasite that enters the bloodstream and slowly changes the host into one of the nasty creatures (side effects include enhanced sight, sense of smell, and hearing.) Our hero and leader of the team, Jack (Cole Hauser), gets the parasite and begins his transition, and he has to deal with it while trying to get his people to safety.

In the original scene Jack wants him and his brother to climb a certain wall, but Charlie, who is self-proclaimed best climber, says she should go first, but Jack says no and makes ready to climb up himself. Charlie, still convinced that she should go first, secretly starts the climb that will end in her death and the frying of a creature.

The New Story.

In this new story Jack is still leading the team, but some of them are not that happy about it. He decides they need to climb the wall (mentioned above) to get to safety. His intention is to send his brother Tyler and himself up first, but Charlie jumps in and volunteers herself to go up first. To the dismay of the rest of the team Jack agrees. Catherine and Tyler plan to mutiny and take control, but Jack overhears their plan and sends Charlie up the wall as quickly as possible. The rest you will just have to watch for yourself.

If there is a moral to this story it is that propane is lethal!
